The Point is led by Liverpool entrepreneurs Graham Van Der Pas and Nick Strum.
Graham is a partner at VDP Design International, a family-run business with more than 15 years of experience in design, architecture, and brand development for real estate. Creating The Point was a natural progression: an opportunity to apply that experience to a development of their own.
After three decades in Edmonton, Nick returned to Nova Scotia in 2025, drawn back by the South Shore’s natural beauty, community spirit, and quality of life. Together, Graham and Nick are inspired by Liverpool’s growth and its distinctive coastal setting.
Their shared vision for The Point is rooted in bespoke design, privacy and a close connection to the natural landscape. Our team created homes that flow seamlessly into the landscape, embracing the coastal charm of The South Shore.

Built using premium, low-maintenance materials - including authentic mechanical-lock standing seam roofing and architectural metal siding by KLAD Building Armour - every home is crafted to stand the test of time while complementing Nova Scotia's coastal environment.
